The Vietnamese Ministry of Finance has decided to hike import tariffs on second hand cars basing on capacity and the seat number, state media reported on April 16.
At present, the Vietnamese people's spending level for electronics and IT products is high. Thus, investors and companies are paying special interest and considering this a potential market.
The Ministry of Finance has adjusted import and export duties on automobiles and certain other goods, effective immediately, in an effort to stabilise prices and ease the trade deficit.
